Friday, August 13, 2021, 7 p.m. Around 00, San Diego County Sheriff’s Department Marijuana Enforcement Team (MET) detectives with the support of San Diego Sheriff’s Deputies from the Santee Patrol Station Community Orientation-Solving Problems (COPPS). The unit, San Diego Sheriff’s Deputies from the Lakeside Patrol Station Crime Team (CST) and San Diego Special Sheriff’s Deputy (SED), issued search warrants in two illegal marijuana dispensaries. One dispensary was located on the 600th block of Grand Avenue on Spring Avenue and the other dispensary was located on the 700th block of Grand Avenue in the Spring Valley.

Guarantees were part of the sheriff’s detectives on illegal marijuana dispensaries in the San Diego area. During the search, the spies confiscated the following from the illegal dispensary of the 700th block of Mets Avenue.

During the search, the scouts confiscated the following from the illegal dispensary of the 600 block on Grand Avenue.
Investigators have found several foods injected with THC that look like fake candies. It is not uncommon for unlicensed, unregulated cannabis dispensers to sell their dangerous products to children. In addition, foods imported with THC that closely resemble well-known brands may inadvertently be consumed, posing potential health and safety risks.
The sheriff’s spies were accompanied by the San Diego County Code Compliance Team, which noted several violations of outpatient clinics that posed a threat to its residents. County Code Compliance asked San Diego Gas և Electric to turn off power to the two dispensaries until the hazards could be mitigated.
The warranty addresses community concerns about illegal marijuana dispensaries in schools and residential areas. We want to reassure those we serve who know that the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office is listening to the community and acknowledging the negative impact that illegal marijuana dispensaries are having on our neighborhoods.
The San Diego District Attorney’s Office will file charges against 11 people arrested in illegal dispensaries.
