El Cajo, California – An El Cajo man has been arrested in the state of Ohio for allegedly shooting and killing another man in Grantville, Ohio, last month.
Alvin Wilson, 32, is accused of shooting Asson Eason Twiman, a 40-year-old La Mesa resident, on September 12, who died three days later in hospital.
Officers were called to the 5800 Mission Gorge Road on the morning of September 12, where Twyman was found in a parking lot with at least one gunshot wound to the upper body.

According to the lieutenant, the investigation revealed that the man in the dark shirt approached the victim and shot at him before the car ran west from the parking lot. Suspicious motives for the murder have not been identified, as has the relationship between Wilson and Tyumen, if any.
Wilson was arrested Sept. 27 by an Ohio Highway patrol on unrelated charges, Brown said. SDPD homicide investigators who had leaked information that Wilson was a shooting suspect then traveled to Ohio to arrest him on suspicion of killing Twiman.

Early Wednesday afternoon, San Diego County jail records did not indicate Wilson was in local custody.
