SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA-East County Advanced Advanced Cleaning Monday featured a 360-degree virtual reality tour video that lets viewers view the program virtually.
Ragra’s “Big Deal” animated mascot greets viewers, accompanying them on a tour of water bodies, allowing people to wander around simply by moving a computer mouse or phone anywhere in the video. Places include Ray Stoyer Water Recycling Facility, East County AWP Demonstration Facility և Lake Jennings:
Virtual viewers with mobile headsets for mobile phones can take the engagement one step further by “penetrating” the video. Representatives of the Representatives project will also start setting up programs for community groups, school scouts to watch the video using the program’s virtual reality goggles starting this month.
“Delivering this fun, easy-to-understand diving tour to East County water and wastewater customers is a unique educational resource,” said Kyle Swanson, Director of East County AWP. “Before the COVID-19 epidemic, we had an average of more than 1,000 people visiting our facility each year, many of them eager students who wanted to learn about this important water resource.
“This virtual tour is helping to fill the training need; it will be useful as the East County AWP moves into the construction phase,” Swanson said.
The project is scheduled to be completed in 2025, և cooperating with four agencies: Padre Dam County Water District, San Diego County, El Cajon Town, Helix Water District.
The project envisages the use of four advanced water treatment steps to produce near-quality distilled water. After an advanced water purification process, the purified water will be mixed with water in Lake Enn ինգ Enings կ treated again at the RM Levy Water Treatment Plant before drinking water is distributed.
In addition to the new local water supply, the project envisages eliminating the need to send most of the Argyle County wastewater to San Diego’s Point Loma Wastewater Treatment Plant, where it is currently treated and then discharged into the ocean.
