A magnitude 5.3 earthquake shook the Imperial Region on Saturday morning, according to the US Geological Survey (USGS).
USGS: The quake struck at 10 am. 55 և was located about 6.8 miles (11 kilometers) west of California, California, north of El Centro, in the Imperial District.
It was the largest earthquake cluster in the region. By: USGS earthquake map, other earthquakes in the area ranged from 2.6 to 3.4.

NBC 7 had callers who reported shaking in Sante, Chula Vista and Tijuana.
No injuries or damage were reported from the quake.
