Flames erupted in two houses in the city of El Cajon on Friday morning, but the fire was extinguished due to the quick cooperation of local fire departments.
Firefighters were called to the scene around 6 a.m. to answer near Avocado Avenue, Avenida Abajo. As soon as Arrival arrived, crews were greeted by two houses “well involved” in the fire, according to Richard Durel, fire chief of the San Miguel Fire and Rescue Department.
