Sonora, California – A mix of holiday homes and permanent residences in the Eagle Meadows area of Tuolumene County may seem like an easy target for a thief who has learned otherwise.
Residents in the area are on high alert, following each other’s homes, said Deputy Sheriff’s Spokesman Niccolo Sandelin. Neighbors alerted last Thursday when they noticed an unknown man walking on the property. Deputies responded and found Sante’s 34-year-old David Shrimp in San Diego.
While questioning Shrimp, lawmakers learned that his car had crashed into a property that Sandelin said he had robbed, along with three other houses in the area, for a total of four. Shrimp was arrested for theft without incident and was released on և 50,000 bail.
Shrimp was reportedly handcuffed two weeks ago by Sonora Police after being caught by security personnel trying to break into a vending machine at a local car wash. here:
